Chronic Pain Flare Up Survival

Whether you deal with migraines, fibromyalgia, endometriosis, or any other type of chronic pain, you'll know how your mind and productivity are affected during a flare up. Over the past few years, I've identified a few key items that make these times significantly more bearable.


1. Medistik pain relief products:

Taking NSAID pain relievers consistently can do serious damage to your digestive tract. As a result of this damage, I'm no longer able to take them which put me on a hunt for alternatives. 2. Comfortable loose fitting clothing:

Tight clothing not only becomes uncomfortable and often ill fitting during a flare up, it can also worsen some symptoms. While I haven't yet found a particular type of pant to wear (I just switch between different sweats and leggings), I have found my favourite go to sweater by STRGRL and the website is here: https://strgrl.com/ the products are all intentionally oversized, so you'll be able to hide any unsettling bloating, keep your body happy, and not sacrifice any style.


3. Weighted Blanket:

For those days when all you can manage is lying on your couch, any weighted blanket will help keep you warm and help relax your body, especially while Medistik is working its magic.


4. Hot Water Bottle:

All day, everyday, relief from various types of pain. Switch between this and Meditstik as needed.


5. Foam Roller:

Release tension in your connective tissue, improve circulation, and relieve some pain as a result. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it, anyone that deals with chronic pain should make foam rolling a part of their routine.
